Hot Boys Fire & Elevator exists because every failed elevator inspection leaves a building owner holding a list of violations — and finding one contractor who can actually close that list is harder than it should be.
What we are
We're an Austin-based elevator compliance contractor. When a state inspection finds violations — machine-room electrical, fire recall that doesn't recall, a wet pit, a beat-up cab — we're the crew that corrects them and gets the elevator ready for re-inspection.
The work usually spans trades: elevator, electrical, fire alarm, even masonry. Instead of making you hire three companies and referee the finger-pointing between them, we take the report and close it out.
What we are not
We are not an inspection company. State elevator inspections in Texas are performed by independent, licensed QEI inspectors, and that independence is good for everyone — the person who finds the violations should never be the person selling you the fix. We stay firmly on the fixing side.
Who you'll deal with
Hot Boys is run by Sam and Charlie. Sam walks sites and writes the proposals; Charlie runs the work in the field. When you email us, one of the two of us answers — there's no dispatcher between you and the people doing the job.
How we work
- Itemized, always. Every proposal prices each violation on its own line. You see what each fix costs and approve exactly what you want done.
- Fix it so it stays fixed. The goal isn't passing one re-inspection — it's making sure the same line never shows up on next year's report.
- Clients get a portal. Active clients track proposals and job progress at app.h-boys.com.
Credentials
Founded by a TDLR-certified Qualified Elevator Inspector (QEI license 20696). We have read thousands of inspection reports from the inspectors side of the table - and Hot Boys performs corrections only. State inspections are always performed by independent licensed QEIs, never by us.
